For those following my Elsie saga (in brief, my mom accidentally showed me the receipt for the store, then tried to somehow convince me I had misread the receipt [img]wink.gif[/img] ), it was Elsie that my mom picked out and wrapped for me to open today. I am so happy. What a beautiful doll! I've updated the FAQ ( http://www.angelfire.com/mi/FAST/lifeoffaith.html ) a bit, and will try to post photos this week or next.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas or is having a nice Hanukkah.

She sure is! I agree with you that she's the prettiest one in person (although they're all so nice). I lucked out because she ended up getting an old version of Elsie, back when her presentation set was free (did you end up with presentation set(s)?). The locket is adorable and even opens (though there aren't any pictures inside). What a neat surprise! I was shocked at/impressed with all of the details on the doll and outfit and haven't been able to take it all in yet. You must have been overwhelmed getting them at once . . . I was overwhelmed with just one! [img]wink.gif[/img]

No presentation set, but she is really gorgeous! The dolls have so many details to them... from their face ( eyelashes, eye color, etc) to the details in their clothing, etc.... very different from amer girl and at first I didnt know if I liked them.. because they are so unique, but they are growing on me! HEHE
